Welcome to New Horizons Elementary School

New Horizons Elementary School, located in Wilmington, NC, was founded in 1983 by a group of visionary parents and professional educators. Our school's program is based on a quarter century of experience and the most current research into highly effective schools. New Horizons incorporates these elements of high-performing schools into its day-to-day operations:

• Class and school size are small; 16 students per class and a total school enrollment of about 100 children in grades K-5.
• Teachers engage their students.
• Ground rules set the tone for respectful behavior.
